Drop your paper prescription into the Arnold St Pharmacy for dispensing.
Once we have dispensed the first prescription, you can choose to take your repeats with you, or, to store your repeats safely on file at the pharmacy. Having your repeats on file, enables you to manage your monthly medication supply – you may call us to re-order, or manage your medications via our mobile app. Ask our staff for more information.
Electronic Prescriptions
Access your medications conveniently at The Arnold Street Pharmacy through electronic prescriptions.
Electronic prescriptions are not mandatory, you can choose to receive either an electronic prescription or a paper prescription from your prescriber (but not both). Electronic prescriptions still support your right to select your prescriber and our pharmacy.
What is an electronic prescription?
Electronic Prescriptions represent your traditional paper prescription in a digital format. Instead of obtaining a physical prescription, your GP can now transmit a link directly to your smartphone or computer through email or SMS. The link has a unique QR code known as a digital token – this token is your prescription to have filled at your pharmacy.
Secure, user-friendly, and efficient, ePresctiptions can be easily accessed on your digital device (smartphone or computer) whenever necessary. This not only saves you time, but also enhances the safety of your medication management.
How does it all work?
During your consultation, your GP will send the token directly to you, via SMS or email. You can then either take the token to the pharmacy or you can forward the token directly to the pharmacy. If you have repeats on your prescription, an updated SMS or email will be sent directly back to you (or you can choose to have a paper printout of your repeats).
